Lenovo Yoga 9i: Luxe entertainment notebook

Is this the best entertainment notebook so far?

Published

Laptops aren’t made for work alone. Nowadays, these portable machines allow us to pursue what we want in life.

For the most part, most people just want to relax in their bed, watching films on their notebooks. But not all laptops are made equal, and some of them don’t bring an exquisite experience when it comes to entertainment.

The exception? The Lenovo Yoga 9i.

Coated in champagne-like luxury

The Lenovo Yoga 9i carries its lineup’s signature design — a versatile 360-degree form factor.

With the oatmeal colorway, the machine looks like it’s painted in champagne giving that luxe, polished vibe with its new Comfort Edge design with rounded and smooth edges. It speaks premium in the way it was finished.

Despite being light and thin, the Yoga 9i didn’t forsake ports. On the left, you can find a USB-A port and two (2) Thunderbolt 4 ports.

On the right, there’s an extra Type-C port situated between a 3.5mm audio jack and the power button.

Convenient functions designed for you

Lenovo Yoga 9i

The way the Yoga 9i was designed, it was meant to make the user experience convenient. The space’s bigger with its edge-to-edge keyboard and larger trackpad.

One-click function keys are put in place to make the experience seamless and smooth. And with Windows 11, you can bring balance to your device. Organize windows, optimize screen space, and maximize your productivity with just a snap.

It has a Full-HD IR camera supported by Lenovo’s AI Engine+ that lets the user enhance camera effects to improve personal appearance, as well as to detect the presence so the face is easily recognized.

There’s also full control when it comes to privacy and security. With the TrueBlock privacy shutter, you can cover the webcam lens directly by sliding the tab to the left.

An exquisite portable cinema

The Yoga 9i prides itself on having a PureSight OLED touchscreen. The display delivers vibrant imagery that lets you enjoy a cinematic appeal even when watching on a laptop.

It also supports Dolby Vision, making films such as Don’t Look Up look fantastic when played on the screen.

Lay it flat

With a rotating soundbar hinge, you can lay the Yoga 9i flat on a surface.

It’s an ideal form factor when presenting or sharing your screen with anyone, without having to move your laptop all the time.

That familiar, rotating soundbar

Lenovo Yoga 9i

The Yoga lineup is prominently known for its rotating hinge, but this time around, Lenovo revamped it. The Yoga 9i carries the world’s first Bowers & Wilkins rotating soundbar, with quad speakers and Dolby Atmos.

Since its speakers face outwards, no matter what form factor you choose — the sound is always clear and immersive.

Tent or tablet?

For an enveloping experience, the tent mode lets the tablet stand on its own while giving you uninterrupted playback.

But if Tent mode isn’t your thing, you can fold the laptop and turn it into a tablet. There’s a stylus for simpler navigation, and its lightweight design makes it easy for you to carry the device.

An exquisite performance

The Lenovo Yoga 9i, despite having a thin and light design, delivers when it comes to performance. With an Intel Core i7-1260P CPU, Windows 11, a 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD, you can ensure seamless everyday use.

It also lasts up to 14 hours — enough to do a full shift at work and a few hours for leisure.

Is the Lenovo Yoga 9i your GadgetMatch?

Lenovo Yoga 9i

The Lenovo Yoga 9i delivers what you expect out of a premium, versatile notebook. It performs whether you use it as a regular laptop, in tent mode, or as a tablet.

It provides average performance for everyday users, but when it comes to entertainment experience — it’s gold-class. Combine the vivid, exquisite display together with its immersive and impressive sound quality, along with its convertible form factor and you’ll get a one-of-a-kind entertainment machine.

The Lenovo Yoga 9i retails for PhP 109,999.
